Keynote presentation for the School 2 Home conference. Harnessing the Power of Technology for Effective School Leadership: Revealing the IT Decoder Ring

Fairfield-Suisun USD board meeting technology 1:1 device update. Presentation starts at 1:47:13. Trust me, you don't want to watch everything up to that point, unless you're really interested in what is going on in our school district!

In July of 2015, I spoke about my favorite teacher (and father-in-law) at his memorial service. Not easy to get through these emotional moments in front of so many friends and family members.

In February of 2015, I got to participate in a round table discussion on getting Internet access to schools with the US Department of Ed's Ed Tech Office. It is always interesting to do these kinds of things because you get to see the different perspectives that people have when they're from other parts of the country or different levels of education.

In November of 2014 at the Brightbytes Summit, I had the opportunity to talk a little bit about why making school more relevant to students' lives is so important.

November 2013, just before the CETPA Conference, I got a chance to participate in an episode of rebootED with Andrew Schwab and Mike Vollmert. Geeky, both from technology and education standpoints - only watch if you are interested in one or both of these! Or, maybe if you are my mom.

My Courageous Speech actually starts at 8:10 of the following audio file.  Listen to the whole thing to get a full picture of what I'm talking about, but if you only want to hear me speak, start at 8:10.

Back in October of 2010, just before I applied for, interviewed, and got the job as Director of Technology for Fairfield-Suisun USD, I had the opportunity to chat with Andrew Schwab and Danny Silva on their very cool podcast, "Small School Big Tech". The best part was that they named the episode after a quote of mine that I threw out off the cuff. Immortalized!
